Bad luck comes in threes for the Chinese internet giant Tencent.
The Chinese government may have relaxed its near one-year ban on new computer games, but Tencent was again absent from the list on Tuesday, as regulators announced a third batch of 93 licences.
Tencent, which relied on games for more than 40 per cent of its revenues before the ban, may be caught up in the backlog; there are 5,000 games waiting for a licence.
