North Korea’s commitment to denuclearisation following the summit between Kim Jong Un and Donald Trump is facing fresh scrutiny amid reports that Pyongyang is continuing to manufacture intercontinental ballistic missiles.
US intelligence agencies have detec-ted signs of fresh activity at a missile production facility outside Pyongyang, according to US media, in a development that has intensified the existing scepticism over whether North Korea really intends to abandon its nuclear and missile programmes.
The Washington Post reported that satellite imagery and other intelligence obtained by the US suggested North Korea was building at least one liquid-fuelled ballistic missile at a facility outside Pyongyang where the nation produced its first ICBMs, which were tested after Mr Trump came to power.
