During the month China's stock market experienced its biggest multi-week fall since 1992, exports nevertheless rose at their fastest pace since February.
June trade data suggests Chinese exports rose 2.1 per cent, in renminbi terms year-over-year, halting a three-month slide.
Imports continued to tumble, but the 6.7 per cent fall compares with a 18.1 per cent setback in May. Imports have been down in every month since November and the decline has been in double digit percentages for each month since January.
