Chinese consumer prices and producer prices rose in line with forecasts in October, official figures showed.
The consumer price index rose 2.5 per cent compared to a year earlier, according to data from the National Bureau of Statistics. That price growth was in line with a Reuters poll and the previous month’s rise.
Food prices rose 3.3 per cent compared to a year earlier while non-food prices climbed 2.4 per cent.
