A Russian journalist is in critical condition after a man on Monday broke into the Ekho Moskvy radio studio and stabbed her in the throat.
Tatiana Felgenhauer, who co-hosts a popular morning show, is in hospital on a ventilator and in an induced coma, the station’s editor-in-chief Alexei Venediktov said, adding that she was in a “critical but stable” condition.
The attacker blinded a guard at the entrance to the radio station with pepper spray, then took a lift to the newsroom where he assaulted Ms Felgenhauer, the station’s deputy editor, before being overpowered by security staff.
